The Rules and Regulations of the “Green Quiz “
These rules and regulations (hereinafter referred to as the ”Rules”) specify the principles of the online quiz on education in the area of wellbeing in the office space, environmental protection and sustainable development, entitled the ”Green Quiz”, hereinafter referred to as the ”Game” or the „Quiz”.
§ 1
Purpose of the Quiz
The purpose of the Quiz is to select the Participants who provide the biggest number of correct answers to the questions asked in the Quiz which checks knowledge of the solutions offered by the developer of office space from the Skanska Group and generally of the wellbeing, within the shortest time limit.
§ 2
Organizer of the Quiz, Participants, Duration
The organizer of the Quiz shall be Skanska Property Poland spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Warsaw, at Al. “Solidarności” 173, 00-877 Warszawa, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 12th Business Division of the National Court Register under the KRS number 83023, NIP [taxpayer identification number]: 5271886478 and REGON statistical number: 912665210, with share capital of PLN 50,000.00 (the “Organizer”).
The sponsor of the Prize in the Quiz shall be the Organizer.
The Quiz shall be conducted by the Organizer on the territory of the Republic of Poland and it shall last from April 24, 2019 to April 26, 2019.
The Organizer shall have the right to shorten or to prolong the duration of the Quiz.
The participation in the Quiz shall be tantamount to the acceptance of the provisions hereof by the Participant.
§ 3
Quiz Participants
The participation in the Quiz shall be available for the employees, collaborators and consultants who provide their services under civil law contracts for the benefit of the tenants of office space located in the buildings erected by the entities from the Skanska Group (the ”Tenants”), who have registered themselves and take part in the Game, and are fully capable of performing legal acts (the ”Participant”).
§ 4
Terms and Conditions of the Quiz
Each Participant may enroll to the Quiz by registering via the following website: https://skanskazielonaedukacja.pl/ or https://skanskagreeneducation.com/ and providing his/her:
first name and list name
e-mail address;
selecting from the list provided the entity for which the participant works or with which the Participant collaborates
confirmation that the Participant knows the contents of these Rules and the Privacy Policy, and that he/she accepts the provisions of these documents
obtaining access to the Game.
During the registration, the Participant shall give his/her real personal data allowing for his/her identification.
In order to participate in the Quiz, the Participant shall use the Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox oraz Safari browser.
Upon providing the data referred to in clause 1 and acceptance of these Rules, the Participant shall, via online form on the website: https://skanskazielonaedukacja.pl/ or https://skanskagreeneducation.com/, answer to the questions related with wellbeing in the office space, environmental protection and sustainable development, as well as green solutions used in the office buildings erected by the entities from the Skanska Group, by checking one or more answers from the list within the time limit as short as possible, and then send his/her answers via the websites specified above.
Each question is accompanied by the answers to be selected from the list, whereby one or more than one answer is correct. The Organizer informs that for each question at least one answer is correct. To complete the Game, the Participant shall answer all the questions.
The duration of the Game is measured from the moment the Participant has the first question disclosed on the website: https://skanskazielonaedukacja.pl/ or https://skanskagreeneducation.com/.
During the Game, the information slides shall be presented. The time necessary to read the information slides is not included in the general time of solving the Quiz by the Participant.
During the Quiz, the Participant may not refresh the website on which the Quiz is being solved. Refreshing the website shall result in logging out of the Quiz without the possibility to enroll to the Quiz again.
Each Participant may enter the Game only once.
Failure to go through all pages/slides of the Game shall be tantamount to the resignation from the participation in the Game, without the possibility to re-enter the Game. The Participant may resign from solving the Quiz any time, upon giving answers to any number of questions, whereby he/she may not re-enter the Game, and his/her score shall neither be calculated, nor considered.
§ 5
Selection of Winners
The Winners shall be the Participants who provide the best answers to the questions of the Quiz (the highest number of correct answers) within the time limit as short as possible (the ”Winners”).
The Winners shall be selected on the basis of the sum of the following factors:
correct answers
time limit devoted to giving correct answers.
The Winners shall be announced on the same day when the Game was conducted. The Winners shall be informed of their victory by the Organizer via e-mail sent to the e-mail address provided at the registration.
The Organizer shall select up to 60 Winners. The Organizer reserves the right to select a smaller number of the Winners or not to select any Winner.
Each Winner shall collect the Prize in person on the day specified by the Organizer. In the event that the Winner is unable to collect the Prize in person, the Organizer shall have the right to leave the Prize at the Tenant’s place. The Organizer shall not be held liable for the Winner’s inability to collect the Prize on the specified date.
§ 6
Prizes
The Prizes in the Game shall be non-cash prizes related with sustainable development, wellbeing-and environmental protection, or workshops on sustainable development, wellbeing and environmental protection, to be provided (non-cash prizes) or organized (workshops) (the ”Prize”) by the Organizer at the time agreed with the Tenant.
The Participant shall not have the right to demand that the Prize be exchanged into another one, and they may not claim the cash equivalent of the Prize.
§ 7
Complaints
The participants may lodge complaints on the course or organization of the Game in writing to the following address: Skanska Property Poland sp. z o.o., Al. „Solidarności” 173, 00-877 with the annotation: ”Green Quiz” no later than within 14 (fourteen) business days of the date of conducting the Game.
The complaints shall be considered by the Organizer within 14 (fourteen) days of their receipt by the Organizer.
The complaint shall include: the first name, the last name and address of the Participant, as well as detailed description of and reason for the complaint.
The complaints shall be considered by the Organizer on the basis of these Rules.
The Participant shall be informed on the mode of the complaint consideration in writing, to the address specified in the contents of the complaint, within 14 (fourteen) business days of the date of the compliant consideration by the Organizer.
§ 8
Final Provisions
The contents of all communications and information on the course of the Game shall be provided to the Participants via e-mail, to the e-mail addresses given at the registration to the Quiz. If these Rules do not provide otherwise, any notices on the Game shall be exchanged via e-mail. Apart from the provisions included herein, the communications and information on the Game given by the Organizer and its representative shall be also binding.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for the consequences of giving false data by the Participants.
The Organizer reserves the right to decide on depriving the Participant of the right to take part in the Game in the event of a breach of these Rules by that Participant, and also due to the Participant’s indecent conduct jeopardizing the Organizer’s good name, its image, reputation or interests. Should the actions of one Participant lead to the selection of the Winners against these Rules, the Organizer reserves the right to select other Winner under § 5.
The prize shall be taxable on the general terms resulting from the law in force.
In the event of the change on the law or its interpretation introduced by the competent authorities, the Organizer reserves the right to change the principles of settlement of the tax on the Prize received for the Game. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any and all additional expenses suffered by the Participants being the consequence of tax obligations and other public law burdens, resulting from the change of the law or its interpretation.
This Quiz is not ”the game of chance” in the meaning of the Act on Gambling of November 19, 2009 (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2016, item 471, as amended).
To matters not regulated herein, the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Poland shall apply. Any disputes shall be resolved by the common court competent for the registered office of the Organizer.
These Rules shall be the only document specifying the terms and conditions of the Quiz. Any promotional and advertising materials related to the Game are of informative nature only. Only the provisions hereof and the law in force are legally valid.
The Organizer reserves the right to change these Rules, unless such change violates any rights of the Participants vested in them prior to its introduction.
